Subject: kernel modules
Lucas;
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner ;-{ I have been ripping up
my system to install a new Tape backup drive, and controller
(SCSI)
and am having problems with interrupt conflicts.
I have been looking through my documentation on CD-R / CD-RW
and I found I have two versions of the CD-Writing-HOWTO.
Version 2.2.9 19 Sept., 1999 and Version 2.8.13 5 March, 2000.
Each has good points, but the older version has better system
setup info and the newer version is better for usage after setup.
I am now wondering which version you have ? I think I can help if
I
can figure out just where you are having your problem. Just what
do
you get in response to "cat /proc/modules" when you are ready to
give the command "cdrecord -scanbus" ?
