Are you using encrypted passwords for samba? How are you having samba
authenticate?

Subject: Samba Question

Can someone please tell me why I can't get authenticated in either direction
from a Linux server to an Win2K server or vice-versa? I can see the Linux
box from the Windows side, and I can see the entire domain from the Linux
side but when I key in what I believe to be the correct logon info, it
rejects the username and password. Any hints as to where I should look for
the problem? TIA
