GNOME and db.linux

I'm putting together a game-plan to port a dBASE III application to
GNOME on RH6.2. I read about db.linux from Centura
(www.centurasoft.com) and read some of the docs. It looks promissing
and it's open source! Any experience out there, particularly in a
GNOME environment?
