US West should be setting up the modem in PPP mode which should start
issuing addresses like 10.0.0.2 - if the nic that is connected to the Cisco
(yellow cable, filter end towards the Cisco) is set to DHCP it should get an
ip address from the modem. If the modem is set to bridging mode...all bets
are off.
