stupid netscape problem

I am having a problem running netscape as a non-root user for some
stupid reason, and I can't figure it out.

Here is the error I get when I try to run from the CLI:

ERROR: libc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory 
Cant load plugin /usr/X11R6/lib/Acrobat4/Browsers/intellinux/nppdf.so.
Ignored.  
Bus error      

My hunch is it has something to do with ld or the like, though I don't
know enough to know for sure. All I know is that it's not a permission
issue.
