I don't think you are going to need to edit the MBR. If you can get into
the system via RESCUE go to the /sbin directory and try "./rdev --help"
that should give you a chance to modify the MBR without actually
"editing" it. I wish I had a running system here. I am building a 500MHz
SMP system right now, but it has to be all set up and loaded with
RedHat before I can play. ;^{
