Hello all, I just installed Mandrake 7 and I have a few questions.
1) My main cd drive is a CD-R and is not working with supermount. =
However, I read the mandrake sets some cd-r's to ide instead of scsi =
emulation. (does this sound right and if so how do I fix it??)
2) my USR modem always hit 115 in windows and only hits 4900 when I =
dial up in Linux. How do I tweak this (even though my linux box is =
fatsre at 4900 than winblows at 115)
3) After I connect to my ISP with KPPP I cannot open any other apps, not =
even a terminal window. after I shut KPPP sown I can run anything, Am I =
foing something fundamentally wrong???
