SMB Mount File error

Hi all,

I am trying to mount an smb share between to Linux RH 6.1 machines and when
I try to do anything on the client with the mount point I keep getting:

[root@yaqui /remotes]# ls -la
ls: mohawk: Input/output error
ls: mohawk2: Input/output error
total 12
drwxr-xr-x   5 root     root         4096 Feb  2 10:24 .
drwxr-xr-x  19 root     root         4096 Jan 28 15:53 ..
drwxr-xr-x   2 root     root         4096 Jan 28 15:53 apache
[root@yaqui /remotes]#

or:

[root@yaqui /remotes]# smbumount mohawk/
Could not umount mohawk/: Device or resource busy
[root@yaqui /remotes]#

Amy ideas?
