Subject: dualboot
\_ Now onto my question, i've followed the how-to at
\_ http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/Linux+NT-Loader-5.html, so i can dual
\_ boot with w2k. When i run the following dd if=/dev/hda2 of=/bootsect.lnx
\_ bs=512 count=1 it does not product a bootsect.lnx file required as per the
\_ how-to, Any clues/ideas/suggestions?

Are you root?
Priveleges?
Can you of=/someplace/else?
/dev/hda2 is your linux root drive?
/dev/hda2 is a partition?

I've cast this magic a lot myself for this kinda purpose, and I have
zero problems with this part of it.
