write on a pdf

Ah, thanks, that worked.  That appears to convert the PDF over to a 
bitmap graphic.  I think I would put it between inkscape and openoffice 
as far as usefulness.  On the one hand it does render the PDF perfectly, 
on the other hard it's now a graphic so it can't be edited, and on a 
third hand of a mutant, it only works a page at a time.

It is useful if all you want to do is add to a document or fill out a 
few blanks, on a PDF not designed to be filled out, for printing.
