qmail toaster for centos 6.x

Appreciate all your hard work.  And I assume you are volunteering your time and effort.  A yum repository would be great!!

I try to follow the upgrade path of CentOS and I really like the Qmail Toaster.  That makes for a dilemma.

I like to just use the stock CentOS which means to get access to newer versions of MySql and PHP, means following the upgrade path.  For example to get access to the new PHP JSON features, I needed to move to CentOS 6.

Looks like I might have to break my stock CentOS methodology.  I could have stayed with CentOS 5 and updated MySql and PHP to the newer versions.  Then I would have been able to run Qmail Toster.

I appreciate all the work you are doing and I look forward to a yum install !!

Thanks, Gilbert. I've been extremely busy lately and haven't been
keeping up on on the plug list.

Thankfully, I've been able to spend a little time on QMT for COS6
recently, and expect to have it available before COS7 comes out. ;) I'm
aiming for some time this summer, and I hope to have yum repositories
available at that time (for both COS5 and COS6) so that all of the build
dependencies will go away, making things much simpler. I hope people
will think it's worth the wait.

In the meantime, yes, many people have QMT up and running on COS6 with
little ado. Dan has written an installation script (available in the
list archives) which makes installation pretty straight forward.

Thanks again.
