OT: digital camcorder that has frame stabilization

I'd recommend something that records to digital media (SD cards, hard drive)
rather than tape. SD Cards allow for variable data rates (constant quality),
allowing data rates to increase (reduced compression) during high activity.
Tape driven cameras have constant data rates, meaning when things within the
frame (including the background) are moving, the whole picture degrades.
I learned that the hard way.
