I've got an Acer Aspire One and have been running it with now Fedora
11-Beta and it's been pretty awesome but it's not a lite footprint.

I've got 100% happening...WPA 802.1x supplicant, 1280x1024 virtual
screen, plymouth start-up graphics, suspend to disk/ram, built-in camera
shoots pictures...

I've been contributing stuff about that here...

my xorg.conf might be useful for someone on another distro who wants to
extend their screen virtually but I think it requires xserver >= 1.6 and
xrandr >= 1.3 (they're pretty new).

Mine is the 160 GB HD so I have dual-boot and I didn't fool around with
the SSHD optimizations

It's a much heavier footprint than many of the netbook optimized
installations but that sort of follows my usage. (Installation with all
productivity software and every distro game available is about 5 Gb)
