Er.  I think that's what's *supposed* to happen.  In reality, people
seem to base internet reputations on whether the person posting
agrees with their own views.  Either that or they base them on
whether the person posting is famous, is attractive, or has made 
many funny LOLcats.

One problem is that if everyone has a printing press, there's so much
info out there that an individual can't process more than a tiny
fraction of it.  They called this "information overload" back in the
1980s.  We have something similar today.  There are so many blogs
and news sites that I *know* I'm missing places that I'd enjoy, just
because I don't know about them or am too busy reading the places I
like to search for new places.
