Announcing Ignite-Phoenix II
Wednesday, October 29th, 6:00-9:00PM
http://www.ignite-phoenix.org/

Presentation submissions are now open until October 10th.

The creative community in the valley is pulling together the next
iteration of the most creative evening you'll ever experience. (Well,
maybe not "ever" but close!) Ignite is an evening of presentations
about any idea or creative endeavor someone wants to talk about. The
format of each presentation is simple:
- 20 projected slides.
- 15 seconds per slide on automatic progression, meaning, no pausing
of the slides.
- Present to the audience while the slides roll!
- Done in 5 minutes.

This format creates a room full of energy that you must experience to
believe. Time is set aside to talk to the presenters and mingle with
the people around you. Open your brain and widen your circle of
creative friends, in just a few hours of one evening!

Submissions of presentation ideas are now open till October 10th. If
you have a burning idea, a great concept, a thoughtful story or any
other thing you'd like to talk about for five minutes, we'd like to
hear from you. Photography, art, writing, coding, do-it-yourself,
design, music, poetry, sick birds in the library (Yep, that was a
story last time!). No topic, within reason, is off limits as long as
you stick to the format.

Please submit your presentation description through the form on the
website at http://www.ignite-phoenix.org/submissions/. If you want to
present but need a jump-start of ideas, check the list of submissions
from the first Ignite Phoenix event here:
http://www.ignite-phoenix.org/submissions/subs-aug-08/. You can also
enjoy videos of the previous event over at
http://ignitephoenix.blip.tv/. Submissions must be made by October
10th!

It was great last time. We're going for amazing this time! Get your
submission in early.

(Please pass this announcement on to any group of creative people you
know. They'll thank you!)
