This is a good selling point for googles threading as I only see 4
emails for (10,000) I personaly am intrigued by any conversation on
almost any subject politics, religion, the north eastern migration of
mutant snails. I do see the point of others that this list should be
for linux chat but outdide chatter is easily filtered client side if
rules like OT are followed. Outside of viagra emails top end
moderation and filters will degrade the list because someone would
have to manage it then they get beat on if they oops and let something
go or don't let something go. We are all (mostly) adults here I am
sure if some official base rules are imposed like subject tags they
will be followed then a temp ban on abusers or perminent ban on those
to thick to learn. I would like to see.

OT: off topic
BIZ: linux business
DIST: distro related
CE: current events news linux related
LE: local linux events
MN: meeting news
Eo: employment and gigs

This would make filtering out flagging and highlighting pretty smooth
