Linux as a Server for Games

I have an update for everyone if anyone's at all interested... The Tremulous
and Battle for Wesnoth servers are now up and running. Unfortunately, the
main Battle for Wesnoth server online is down at the moment. However, if you
want to play online with each other, you can use mine! Here's the server
information. You can install either game from your package manager, and then
connect with the following information.

*Tremulous*
Server Address: 72.222.161.141:30720
Server Name: Patrickland Tremulous (you can connect to this by finding the
server of that name as listed)
Player Limit: 22

*Wesnoth*
Server Addres: 72.222.161.141:15000
Server Name: Patrickland Wesnoth (you have to enter the IP manually under
"multiplayer" --> "connect to server")
Player Limit: 22

I recommend updating your Tremulous binaries with those at Trem-Servers.com
(http://www.trem-servers.com/index.php?page=downloads#client). On Ubuntu
(and probably Debian), replace /usr/games/tremulous with the
"tremulous-t971.ARCH" file and copy "vms-1.1.t971.pk3" into
/usr/share/tremulous/base/. You don't have to do this, but it fixes a rather
annoying bug (can't alt-tab) and adds some features. Even if you don't do
this update, you will be able to connect to my server. If you're using a
distribution other than Ubuntu/Debian, I suggest locating the tremulous
binary to replace with 'locate tremulous | grep bin' and finding the
tremulous/base structure with 'locate tremulous | grep base'.

Of course, I can't really admin from work, so don't play abusively, and I'm
sorry if somone else chooses to do so. Try to vote to kick them.

The Nexuiz server will be up later this week.
