 for science subjects, Wikipedia is /usually/ pretty good (you can
scratch from that list just about anything having to do with:
reproduction, petroleum, global warming, hurting cute animals, and
pharmaceutical drugs).  For anything else, you can be pretty much
assured that the opinions expressed there are those of the guys with
money.  There has been an underground economy of PR specialists who
monitor and manage your 'Wikipedia presence' for some time.  These
people and Wikipedia subject expert appointees are, in my estimation,
the same group of people.
