mentions that "Microsoft Corp. bought Powerset Inc. in July", and
discusses what that might mean for the future.
(apparently, Powerset used to [and -- I guess -- still does]
contribute open-source code [and maybe other help] to [quote:] "the
Apache Software Foundation's Hadoop project.").
My 0.02:
When allowing any company -- who "might" have some ulterior motives --
to "contribute code to" (and, otherwise "influence") any open-source
project, it seems logical that the people who care about the project,
might want to be extra careful about what changes they allow from that
source.
