Will this ethernet "splitter" work satisfactorily?

NO! I'm sorry... It makes NOOOOOOO SENSE!

Have you ever heard of Ethernet Collisions? Timeout sequences? Do you
understand switching vs. broadcasting?

Look, just by a SWITCH and end this thread.

Switches limit ethernet collisions by limiting ethernet broadcasting.
Switching gives the FULL BANDWIDTH to each port on the switch. Hubs
DIVIDE bandwidth between all the active ports.

If you buy this splitter, and have both computers access youtube at
the same time, you might as well have dial-up.

But really, use the black electrical tape and twist your wires
together... it is called 'Twisted Pair' after all.
