Don't forget the magnets.  I took a couple from a dead hd and used them 
as a tie clip.  Put one behind my shirt and one in front of the tie. 
Lots of other uses too.  My kitchen cabinets have a 2 inch lip below the 
doors.  I stuck several former hard drive magnets there.  It's a perfect 
place to put knives and other assorted doodads that would otherwise fill 
the drawer.
