gnucash/kmymoney

I tinstalled it once and it made it so that KDE would not load but I got 
another file manager instead. I don't want to go through that again... hence 
the apprehension in doing it again.
I investigated putting kmymoney on but in the process it wants to update 77 
packages and install 48 new ones.
I can't decide which is the worst of two evils! I just want it to work and 
never run apt-get update again!.

This is what gnucash needs which will poossibly lead to installing the afore 
mentioned 77+48.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

If you think I should follow the gnucash route I think I would dpkg install 
some of these dependencies and the others would just follow along. Right? Or 
else, perhaps I needed to pay closer attention during the config process. 
What do you think?
