Way OT - Dell selling 1501 notebook for $599

Not sure if people are still interested in this ... Someone had posted a few 
weeks back that they had a friend who was looking for an inexpensive laptop.

Dell just sent me an ad that noted they have their 1501 reduced (ONE DAY 
ONLY!!!) to $599.

No, I am not buying one (happy right now with my Acer), nor do I own stock in 
Dell. If that person is still looking for a laptop, this might be a 
possibility.
