voip and asterisk

I am looking for a local consultant to assist me with a small asterisk
setup.  I am a complete newbie and would like to learn more about
setting up and deploying voip solutions.  I have enlisted a couple of
small businesses that are willing to be my 'guinea pigs' so if you are
interested please reply off list and include your rates and experience.
