I would hope no one ever clicks links in a spam email, as it merely
allows the spammer to confirm that your email address is valid.  As far
as not selling anything, well, I guess I see your point... why bother
sending spam if there's nothing even decipherable in it?  As someone
suggested prior to this, it could've contained a virus and been stripped
out, but I have received similar email that have not been stripped and
they contained no attachments, mainly due to the server not scanning for
virus'.
