Transfer home directory?

Alan,

I bet unison would work well for this. :-)

If you are transferring via a fat drive (USB thumb, etc.) try using tar or 
some other archive utility. This helps preserve permissions so all your JPEGS 
don't end up as executables.  Fat seems to want to make everthing executable.
