yeah, I installed the gcjwebplugin but nothing seems to change.  I fear
trashing parts of the system that use the built-in gcj java by
installing another one.  In the past I used blackdown and sun but that
was before OOo 2.x.  Since OOo uses java but I don't know which java etc
I don't want to try anything on my everyday system.

It's possible that OOo has a 32bit java library installed with it since
it's 32bit but again I don't know.
