Debian or Ubuntu for a desktop box?

I personaly think that Ubuntu has taken the debian desktop experience to
new levels. I still think debian's the best thing since cubed bread met
molten cheese on little sticks, but I'm also likely to stick with Ubuntu
on future desktops as long as Ubuntu stays tied to debian.
