Can't get my Konica-Minolta mc2300DL to print

Has anyone on the list gotten one of these printers to work under Linux?

I'm using Xandros, which claims to recognize this printer--it has the
proper file, foo3zjs installed--and cups seems to be configured
correctly, yet any file I direct towards this printer doesn't get its
attention. My hpdeskjet940c works fine with Xandros; as do both printers
in WinXP.

The Konica-Minolta is connected as a usb printer, which the print wizard
recognizes as /dev/usb/lp0 (the print wizard recognizes the deskjet as
/dev/lp0.) the various printcap files are as follows:

bob at Pooh-at-Home:~$ less /etc/printcap

# This file was automatically generated by cupsd(8) from the
# /etc/cups/printers.conf file. All changes to this file
# will be lost.

Both seem identical. Here is the printers.conf

bob at Pooh-at-Home:~$ less /etc/cups/printers.conf

I've tried to make it print from the gui and from the cli, and I just
can't get it to pay attention. I'm stumped.

Can anyone point me in a logical direction?
