A wiki might be a nice addition to the site, but I don't think that
the site should be entirely wiki-based itself. Having a unified CMS
seems like it would be easier to fit to the needs of PLUG, allowing
for integration of calendar, event notification, news, etc. While a
wiki might make a nice knowledgebase, I've seen very few successful
uses of wikis for calendars. Another option would be to have a wiki
for the main pages, and for the more dynamic content (calendar,
etc.), use separate apps, but the integration problem's still there,
plus maintenance would be more of a hassle, and security for each app
would have to be kept up. Just my $0.02.
