Image Viewer Printing

Clearly, I did not make the question clear. I have no problem getting
the screenshot to print. Nor does the default image-viewer have any
trouble understanding .png files. And coverting the format is
something I have been doing in verious computer systems since the
1970s.

The point is that image-viewer clearly knows and understands .png
files and whatever mechanism it is using to accomplish the priinting
is not correct. IF someone knows or understands WHY, it might be
fixable and that could help other people. The question is clearly
WHY, not how to get aroound it.

Sorry, Ed, I know you are trying to help and I appreciate that. It
just was not help I was looking for.
