Why do I use Linux?

Hi Vaughn,

You probably have to run sysprep on the original drive, then clone it.
See http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/faq.html/#30

Acronis rep told me:
Eugene: Unfortunately Windows has hardware abstraction layer and it will
not allow you to use the hard drive of the different interface if you
run the system from the cloned drive, that's why Sysprep tool is needed:
it removes the exact information about the hardware and allows to use
the other

What is a trivial operation in Linux/Unix - replacing a bad disk - is a
nightmare under Windows.

Good Luck :)

When was the last time you backed up your business data?
Excellent! When did you verify that your backups actually worked?
