<P>Did you get your monitor problem resolved? I was thinking about purchasing the same monitor from Costco and I ran into your message. It seems like a pretty good deal for a 17 inch monitor. Would you consider any other monitor on the market around the $350 price range. You probably don't care to hear this, but Costco dropped $50 on that monitor.</P></FONT><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>

<P>their is a 'flashing' of refresh going on that is somewhat like an</P>
<P>interlace tracing. It's annoying as heck.</P>

<P>goes away. If I logout of X and restart X it goes away. But if I switch</P>
<P>to Windows and then come back, it's a jumpy screen again. The switch was</P>
<P>fine under CRT and I powered both systems down so the switch 'forgot'</P>
<P>about the monitor that was installed.</P>
