Hi David,

Thanks for shedding some reasonability into this discussion.  Yes.  High
licensing fees do not justify theft, especially for business.  If you're
using pirated software, stolen property and other similarly illegal things
to make money, then shame on you!  Of course, they don't justify theft for
home users, either, but at least those users aren't using the stolen
property to make money!  I think that part of the reason for the high prices
has to do with software piracy.  The industry is trying to figure in the
costs of such piracy and is passing those costs along to legitimately
licensed users.
