Internet sharing on linux

I think what you're looking for is Internet Connection Sharing. I'm not sure
if XP has it available but Win98 has it on the CD.

If I remember correctly, install ICS on the WinBox and you should be able to
connect to the Internet from your laptop using a crossover cable and dhcp.
