Linux and 80GB hdds; how large can hda1 be and still boot off hda2?

I'm pretty sure Win2K and up can because the use ACPI and not the BIOS.=20
Don't know about any other versions of winBLOWS because none of my
installations have deserved the 120Gb HDs I have.  Only linux is allowed
on those.  Actually, my mom's computer is running win2k pro (the only
winBLOWS I will support) on a 120Gb just fine but the mobo is <1yr old
so that's not proof.  Just do a google for "windows acpi bios" and see
what comes up.
