Just FYI, Cox will change your IP address if you stop using it.  In 
other words, if I leave my computer on all the time it will remain the 
same (even across the DHCP lease).  I have found that powering down my 
computer for six hours at night results in a new address.  
Unfortunately, I have not experimented enough to learn the exact 
conditions under which Cox decides that you require a new address.
