Linux and AOL

That's from Aug 2000. I've talked to people from AOL more recently than that
and they suggest corporate policy is to ignore GNU/Linux. It's not the market
they want and it's a small market.

Best bet to connect to AOL from GNU/Linux would be to try to get it working
under WINE and send AOL bug reports.

Even better would be to get people to move to a better service provider. If
AOL sees their customer base leaving because there's no mechanism to use
them as an ISP from GNU/Linux they'll start considering GNU/Linux as a valid
target platform.
