CPU Temperature Monitoring & Limits

Where can I find recommended CPU temperature limits for an AMD Duron? I
have the AMD Duron Processor 3 Technical Specification Sheets, and all
it says is "Maximum die temperature 90C." Recognizing there is a
thermal gradient between the CPU and the temperature sensor, does anyone
have any ideas what the maximum temperature I should experience for a
healthy PC? I have not found any concrete numbers on the 'Net.

I configured "sensors" yesterday, and wrote a script to log system load
and CPU temp over time, which results in this output:
06-17-2002 06:47:00 0.09 95.5°F TX: 271kbps RX: 150kbps
06-17-2002 06:48:00 0.19 96.1°F TX: 270kbps RX: 194kbps
06-17-2002 06:49:00 0.13 96.1°F TX: 271kbps RX: 185kbps
06-17-2002 06:50:01 0.21 96.1°F TX: 264kbps RX: 201kbps
06-17-2002 06:51:00 0.24 96.4°F TX: 201kbps RX: 240kbps
06-17-2002 06:52:00 0.37 97.2°F TX: 270kbps RX: 193kbps
06-17-2002 06:53:01 1.17 103.5°F TX: 272kbps RX: 176kbps
06-17-2002 06:54:00 0.76 105.3°F TX: 269kbps RX: 204kbps
06-17-2002 06:55:01 0.66 107.2°F TX: 259kbps RX: 209kbps
06-17-2002 06:56:01 0.84 110.1°F TX: 272kbps RX: 200kbps
06-17-2002 06:57:01 1.85 111.4°F TX: 270kbps RX: 177kbps
06-17-2002 06:58:01 1.62 112.3°F TX: 269kbps RX: 183kbps
06-17-2002 06:59:01 1.01 113.4°F TX: 220kbps RX: 218kbps
06-17-2002 07:00:02 0.81 113.7°F TX: 222kbps RX: 212kbps

(As you can see, I also incorporated tracking network traffic from a
previous thread as well. This script is located on my web site.)

I then ran the machine ragged playing an AVI movie in full-screen mode
for over 1.5 hours. The CPU temperature reached 127F and held steady.
I set my alarm at 129F and reset (hysteresis) at 127F. Do these sound
like reasonable values? Obviously, cooler is better, but I don't have
$200 for a liquid cooling system.

Thanks in advance.
