Redhat 7.3 CDs

I was able to conn a friend into downloading and burning a set for me. However, once installed on my Dell Inspiron 3000 I cannot activate eth0. I think it may be a pcmcia issue (my card ethernet card is pcmcia and not built in). I get a message on bootup for the pcmcia that says something like "ds sockets not available", but the pcmcia service is running and I do get an OK after the message. When I try to configure the network I cannot activate eth0.

I am reduced to checking email at the library! If you have any suggestions, please let me know. It may take a few days for me to respond, however.
