It looks like this has been here for awhile but I'm just finding out about it. Seems there is a product called WineX who's goal is to allow us to play all Windows games on our Linux boxes. Looks like the first major success was the sims (I know of at least one person in PLUG who said they had to keep M$ to play the Sims) <http://www.transgaming.com/about.php> Carl P.
