Mensan = Top 2% of the population IQ-wise.  Don't ask for only $20K. 
You trying to bring it down for the rest of the top 2%ers?  A high IQ
usually indicates an ability to comprehend new things faster and better
(offset by any laziness in the possessor).  If you can't find something
paying well in AZ, I'd suggest you try to find some good friends or
family in a state that isn't so bent over it's kissing it's a** and ask
them if you can crash until you have a job.  (That's my plan if my
current job goes away.  I'm fed up with what I've seen in this state. 
Even VA, with its overload of ex-Navy people job hunting was better than
this.)
