Linux install hangs hard on kernel load

Id try Slackware 8 .. im sure after nosing around the hardware youl find one
of the disk boot images in /bootdsk144   -- that would boot also one of the
System disks usually the color image is cool..

Just use the rawrite.exe to create the disk images ..

I had to do this with this Compaq which has an onboard scsi that is label'd
Compaq but is a rather cut up Tekram scsi card and chipset ...

so yup i had to build the disk set to bring the Scsi adaptor up online at
boot time to install onto the Scsi drives..

now the dandy little P120 sings ...
