I stand corrected.  I just read an in-depth analysis about W32.Winux - 
it runs under Windows and will infect Linux files that are shared via 
a network.  So if share your Linux drive to a Windows box, it will 
infect the Linux system.

So it will run under each O/S, but the infection point is always 
from Windows.
