Free BSD, archive

Hi list members,

I have some sites that run on a FreeBSD server, which I'm now managing.
Does anyone know what happened to the Phoenix BSD Users Group that is listed
on the PLUG site, but has a dead URL? Was it joined with PLUG? Since BSD
is similar to Linux and I see several references to it on the site, are
occasional questions about it accepted here? I've been able to work through
the issues by myself so far, but...

Also, a couple of questions about the archive. I went to the archive to
search for info before I bothered the list, but unless I download and unzip
the 60 Meg full archive, I can't really search it. Is there a place to
search the archive that I am not seeing? Also, shouldn't the Mailman
settings for the archive be checked to hide email addresses or require a
login to prevent email address harvesting?

Regards,
Steve
