Trouble sending email

MindSpring doesn't support Linux anymore???

I used to work there, and they didn't really "support" it, but yet they had a linux machine there for an example, plus if you asked really nicely for someone who knew linux, they'd help you.

I'd recommend calling in and asking for someone who knows linux. I know that in the Phoenix office there was several people who loved linux who worked in Tech Support that would help you. ( I was one of them ) but that may have all changed since they merged with Earthlink...

They told me to keep mail.mindspring.com, but they gave me a new phone number saying that the old one caused problems for those sending email (which was strainge). I tried the number, and the same error happens, even with mail.smtp.mindspring.com (and smtp.mail.mindspring.com, and even smtp.mindspring.com) Customer support (of course) does not support Linux (really big drag). I can ping mail.mindspring.com.
