Trouble sending email

Rick,
I have that same problem. I go to the outbox open the mail and try to
send again. The problem is Earthlink has filters in place so you can only use
there mail servers. So if you try to use another mail server it would
continuely fail. I found that it fails for me the first time because it has
to do all it's crap to verify the mail server I am connecting to. Then the
second time I try to connect it works.

Allot of companies have started to take this same approach to stopping
spam. It is getting very annoying.
