Netscape selective TCP Errors

Hi All:

Earlier this week I attempted to install/run LimeWire. I needed a
little java app called jre that was supposed to be at
http://www.javasoft.com. When I went to head on over I got:

A network error has occurred: unable to connect to server [tcp error:
no routing to host] The server maybe down or unreachable.

I tried the site a number of times but got the same error message. I
then tried http://www.sun.con and http://www.blackdown.com with the
same results. These attempts took place over several days.

This whole time I'm thinking the problem is on their end. I tried
http://www.anonymizer.com and was able to get through. Rebooted and
still have the same problem.

I was using Netscape 4.77 but also had the same results with Mozilla.
I have tried a number of other sites and all works well.

Why can't I get to these sites and yet can reach others?

Running Red Hat 7.1 with Ximian Gnome 1.4 on cox@home FWIW the Win
machine has no problem reaching any sites.

Thanks,

Mike
