Redhat 7.1 port access

So, you don't have iptables installed?  I think somewhere around 7.0
RedHat
also started installing both iptables and ipchains by default.  Might
want
to check for iptables as well.

What port does Sybase use?  You might also want to ensure that is it is
in 
the /etc/services file.
