Mail trouble

Quite interested.   Quite a newbie in this area.  Any "HOWTO" would be deeply 
accepted.  I did a "which fetchmail", and I have that, but I don't have ssh.  
I will get that now, and any description on how to get all of this to work 
for the mail problem will great.
